Beef Bank's main aim is to provide Foodbank Queensland with fresh meat for use in donating food for community and welfare organisations (at no cost) to support the homeless and disadvantaged in Queensland. The Rotary Club of Brisbane Centenary uses Corporate and Rotary sponsorship to meet this objective. Our club members have undertaken marketing of the program to meet the goal of one beast (approximately a quarter of a tonne of meat) per week equalling up to 1,000 meal servings.

A Rotary club or corporate organisation or private sponsor will donate the sum of $1,200 to the Beef Bank Project which will be run under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Brisbane Centenary. The fee will include the purchase of the beast, transportation to the holding property near Warwick and for the slaughter and packaging of the meat. After this time the meat will be transported to Foodbank Queensland who will store and distribute the meat to the relevant charities.
